About the Course

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles are rapidly becoming essential for charity leadership, strategic planning, and donor transparency.

This course provides a structured framework to help charities in Singapore align ESG with regulatory requirements, particularly the Code of Governance for Charities and IPCs (2023) and Governance Evaluation Checklist (GEC).

Delivered by seasoned governance consultants, this session helps senior leaders, board members, and operational heads understand how ESG frameworks apply in the context of charity operations, impact measurement, and board accountability.

The Facilitator

Dr Isabel Sim

Dr Isabel Sim is the principal consultant at Integrative CSR Consulting. She was formerly Senior Research Fellow, Department of Social Work, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, National University of Singapore as well as Director (Projects), Centre for Social Development (Asia).

She served as Head of Corporate Governance Practice, Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations (CGIO) and Senior Lecturer, Department of Strategy and Policy, NUS Business School from 2012 to 2014.
